Electrical insulating mats, also known as electrical safety mats, are designed to provide protection from electric shocks while working in or around high-voltage equipment. They protect against potentially fatal shocks generated by high-voltage equipment by offering high resistance, which forces electrical charges to choose the path of the least resistance.
